Little India, Singapore

Friends of mine say, it is not hard to find Little India : follow the aroma of exotic spices combined with the scent from burning incense. We can say this is the most colorful district. Here also offer many good stuff for shoppers, ie: jewelry, spices, clothes, gifts, balm, oil, beauty products, CD's + DVD's and household items. It is also a good place to enjoy good and inexpensive subcontinental food with a different kind of taste.

"Masjid Abdul Gafoor" -  Built in 1859 and named from its builder, this mosque is the most beautiful mosque in Liitle India. This masjid architecture is a mixture of Arabian, South Indian and Roman styles with its many arches and onion dome.

"Sri Srinivasa Perumal Temple" - This Hindu temple was built in 1855 and is dedicated to Perumal (or Vishnu). It was also declared as a national monument in 1978.
